Mytty In Focus was our pick of the 2002 Midland Bull Test Sale. He was one of very few bulls that was above average for performance, scrotal, EPD’s as well as scanning very well for both Ribeye and IMF. At the time he was a very complete bull with a moderate frame, great disposition and out of a great cow.
One half interest of In Focus was sold to Black Pine Farm shortly after we had bought him. We brought him home and used him artificially and also as a clean-up bull on heifers for 2 years. He proved himself to be a great breeding bull.
As the performance and ultrasound numbers came back on In Focus’s first calf crop, there was a lot of interest in him. Through much contemplation we, (Kevin Mytty and Bill & Debbie Jensen and ourselves) decided to go with an offer that ABS Global, Inc. had given us. I guess you can say the rest is history. In Focus has blown away our expectations and has become the "#1 bull in the Angus breed for registrations in 2008, 2009 & 2010! We are truly blessed to be able to own him.

Shipwheel Chinook
Chinook is an exciting calving ease sire raised here at Shipwheel. He is passing on many of the same traits as In Focus with more length of body. As he proves to be desirable in so many traits, his demand grows each year at ABS. Chinook was a popular attraction at our stop on the 2011 Montana Angus Tour. Owned with Spickler Ranch, Glenfield N.D. and ABS Global.

9045 was our choice of the 2010 KelMcc Plus Bull Sale. He was impressively muscled with tremendous length of body. 9045 posted a big ribeye scan which is not typical fo calving ease bulls. He has proven himself as a great breeding bull and we have had great calving success on our heifers. Look for his first sons in December 2012!
Owned with Peterson Grain & Cattle.
833 was our choice of the 2009 Big Country Breeders Sale. He s a stylish power bull with tremendous muscle expression and great feet. He posted a 121 WR and was at the top for RFI. 833 has been turned in the hills as a clean up bull on some registered cows the last two years and has done an excellent job. 833 caught a lot of attention on the 2011 Montana Angus Tour.
Look for his first sons in December 2012!

Upward is a very balanced performance sire that posts a very impressive set of numbers.
His progeny are moderate framed, thick and in high demand across the industry.
Pioneer is the type of sire we seek out. He is very balanced, moderate framed, thick and
gentle. He has a big ribeye, big scrotal and packs a good foot. Pioneer’s calves have a
modest birth weight and grow like weeds. Look for more of his progeny in the future.
77P is another well balanced, moderate birth weight sire with excellent growth and fleshing ability. Very few sires can match his tremendous depth of rib and body. We are very anxious to calve his first set of daughters. His sons will leave females that will definitely be the keeper kind.
