On a very cold day in January 1989, Eriskay of Apex 9004 was born. A double bred Shoshone Vantage JB23 daughter. She went on to raise 15 natural calves while being flushed several times. Interest in four of her sons were kept for our own use. Including Apex Advance 349 purchased by Leachman Cattle Co. at the 2000 Midland Bull Test Sale. We are currently flushing two of her daughters. A grand-daughter raised a bull calf, “Shipwheel Chinook,” born in 2007 that was one of our top sellers to Spickler Ranch of North Dakota. Unfortunately we lost 9004 in the summer of 2008, at nearly 20 years of age. She was a little, small framed cow that truly is the foundation of our cow herd. We will miss her but are doing our best to keep her genetics running strong.
Apexette Eriskay 9040 is an embryo daughter of our 9004 donor cow. She currently has production ratios of BR 8/93, WR 8/105, YR 6/103, IMF 14/108, REA 14/100, She herself became a donor for us after she attained pathfinder status. 9040, like her mother is a moderate framed, perfect uddered ideal cow. A son Apex New Frontier 1655, was a top seller in 2006 to Chad Comes of Iowa. A full ET brother to 9040 sold in the 2000 Midland Bull Tet for $12,500 to Leachman Cattle Co.

2034 is an embryo daughter of our 9004 donor cow. She currently has production ratios of BR 4/94, WR 4/99, YR 3/101, IMF 3/91, REA 3/97. 2034 is a stylish cow with great feet and a great disposition and udder. She has raised several top-selling bulls for us and is leaving some beautiful daughters. Many ET sons of Connealy Thunder sell March 20, 2010!
Apex Eriskay 5506 is a grand-daughter of our 9004 donor cow. She currently has production ratios of BR 3/91, WR 3/105, YR 2/106, IMF 2/108, REA 2/104. She is very moderate with an outstanding "In Focus" disposition. She is best known for raising Shipwheel Chinook as her first natural calf. Look for several ET calves by her and Sitz Upward in spring of 2010!
Apexette Chloe 4424 stems from our powerful Chloe cow family. She is an outstanding producing "In Focus" daughter. 4424 raised our 2nd high-selling bull in 2009, selling to Powell Brothers, Chinook, MT. Her production ratios are BR 4/91, WR 4/109, YR 3/105, IMF 3/97, REA 3/107. Look for embryo calves by 4424 and HARB Windy 702 in the spring of 2010.
26 is one of the top cows that we purchased from Dr. Jellum. She has consistently raised outstanding calves including a bull that we retained for our own use and our high-selling bull in last year's sale to Tande Ranch, Scobey, MT. She is extremely deep bodied, easy fleshing, moderate and a super disposition, udder and excellent feet. Her production ratios are BR 7/105, WR 7/109, YR 6/106, IMF 3/106, REA 3/96. Look for embryo calves by 26 and Shipwheel Chinook in the spring of 2010.
